The Power of Community

We at The Caregiver’s Voice believe in the power of community; whether you partner with local organizations or caregivers across the sea. We also participate on various social networking sites such as FaceBook, Twitter, and HealthBlogger.

As Brenda Avadian’s bio reads:

One person can make a big difference in people’s lives.

It has been said:

To the world you may be one person,
but to one person you are the world.

This is YOUR page to interact with us and other family caregivers and professionals.

We offer you three ways to be part of The Caregiver’s Voice community:

I. RECEIVE VALUABLE INFORMATION

1. Subscribe to our FREE newsletter.

2. Ask The Caregiver’s Voice. Along the left margin you’ll find an easy “Question?” link to ask your question. If the answer to your question may benefit other caregivers, we’ll post the answer on TheCaregiversVoice.com and send you the link. For valuable information and resources, please be sure to visit our Products & Services and Resources & Links pages.

II. ABOUT YOU and CREATING an INTERACTIVE CAREGIVER COMMUNITY

3. Post your events on our Global Community Calendar. Headquartered in the United States (northeastern Los Angeles County, California), The Caregiver’s Voice serves caregivers around the world. We want to grow our global caregiving community for brain-impaired adults, because there is much we can learn from one another. Click on submit event to the TCV Global Community Calendar.

4. Send us your JOYFUL story for Finding the JOY in, the next in the series of Finding the JOY titles or for our blog. Together we will bring hope and strength to caregivers through knowledge and humor. Click on Finding the JOY in Caregiving Submission Guidelines.

5. Submit your book or product for review. We invite you to submit products or books that benefit family or professional caregivers (see About Us) for review. Reviews will be added to our Resource & Links page. Click on Submit book or product for review. To see a sample review, please click on The Caregiver’s Voice Book Review.

III. ADVOCACY, RECOGNITION, & SUPPORT for OUR CAREGIVING COMMUNITY

6. Help The Caregiver’s Voice spread the word and advocate for caregivers of adults with brain impairment. Add The Caregiver’s Voice Ribbon to your website and ask others to do the same. Help raise awareness of the caregiving journey and make sure that our voices are heard.

7. Support our mission to serve as an advocate and independent voice for family and professional caregivers by becoming a Sponsor. Our Sponsor link also affords you the opportunity to build greater awareness within your target market about your product, service, or upcoming event. Also, see Item 6.

8. Nominate a family or professional caregiver for The Caregiver’s Voice Caregiver of the Month (TCV’s CotM) featured on our home page. To nominate a special caregiver, complete the TCV Caregiver Nomination Form.
