I invite you to submit your work for consideration in Finding the
JOY
in Cancer: (Subtitle to be determined). Together we will give hope, strength, and courage to those who have cancer and to their families around the world.
The Criteria for your
JOYFUL
submission are as follows:
Length: Stories should be 250 - 1,000 words (one to four double-spaced "typed" pages).
Format: Submissions may arrive via email. You may attach digital/scanned photos as .jpg files for easy translation over the Internet.
Subjective Criteria: Those battling cancer, and their loved ones, should feel
JOY
when reading your story. Their hearts should fill with hope and
JOY
when looking at your photo/artwork.
Descriptive Criteria: Your story must have enough vivid detail so the reader feels
s/he is living the experience. Your photo/artwork must capture the essence of
JOY
.
If your work is accepted we will include up to a 50-word biography in the "Contributors'
Biographies" section of the book.
